Job Description.
We are looking for an aggressive and innovative Engineering/ R&D Manager to help lead and further build our R&D team in the following three areas:
1. Leading the team to finish development of our own product line which is a consumer product comprised of machined aluminum parts, machined steel parts, injected plastic parts and metal fabrication products, all for the Outdoor industry.
2. Leading the R&D team in our ODM services for our American and European Big Brand customers. After receiving customer ID, you must lead the team with strong design experience and be able to communicate effectively with American Design Engineers on all structural design details. You will need to communicate via email and sometimes via conference call with American designers.
3. Choosing right material for each component.
4. Forecast the full cost breakdown, research the cost structure, work out a reasonable cost.
5. Tracing the product development steps tightly and improved the product structure. Working with Rapid Prototyping facilities and production facilities to make sure our requirements or our customers requirements are achieved, the project is on time, and the quality is to specification.
6. Optimize the manufacturing process to control the manufacturing cost.
7. Finish the prototype quickly and correctly.
8. Lead the R&D colleague to work together efficiently.
Requirement:
1. Industry Design, Mechanical or related science, Bachelor or above.
2. Minimum 5 years design experience. 2 years managing experience.
3. Must use one CAD/CAE software to generate the product structure. Solidworks is preferable.
4. With one of the following experience will be preferable: Hunting product, bicycle, sports equipment, ect.
5. Essential knowledge:
a) Understand the material like Steel, Aluminum alloy, plastic,
b) Machining process, molds, tooling, and familiarity with as many manufacturing processes a huge bonus
c) Structural Strength analysis
d) Rapid tooling and Prototyping experience
6. Adequate English communication skills.
7. Team work and strong leadership are essential skills.

1. 带领部门成员完成公司自有设计的户外运动产品的开发，配件包括： 机械精加工件，注塑件，焊接件，等等。
2. 带领部门员工给公司的欧美品牌商客户提供ODM服务，根据客人的产品概念，完成产品设计。工作中根据需要跟客人进行有效的沟通，包括邮件，电话会议等。
3. 为设计好的产品选择合适的配件材料。
4. 很好地预估产品的物料成本，和其他成本
5. 紧密地控制和跟踪产品开发的每个步骤和细节。
6. 优化产品生产的工艺流程，有效控制生产成本。
7. 带领部门成员快速完成新产品首样的制作
8. 领导并激励研发部门各成员有效地团队合作。
基本要求：
1. 工业设计，机械设计或者相关专业，本科及以上学历
2. 至少5年以上设计经验,2年以上管理经验。
3. 至少可以熟练使用一种CAD/CAE软件做结构造型。Solidworks优先。
4. 有以下行业设计经验者优先： 户外用品；狩猎用品；自行车；自行车架；运动器材。
5. 申请人必须具备：
a) 熟悉常用钢铁，铝合金，工程塑料的强度参数，了解相应材料的机加工，注塑，冲压，压铸的工艺特点。
b) 能够做简单的产品结构强度分析
c) 了解产品试制流程，熟悉快速样品的制作方式。
6. 具备良好的英文水平，能够很好地跟国外工程人员进行交流。
7. 良好的沟通，协调能力和领导能力。
