Who We Are? Just Grapes was founded in 2006 by entrepreneurs who are graduates of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Business School. The partners founded Just Grapes to bring a new and accessible wine shopping experience to the retail space in China. Our flagship store in Shanghai also includes a second-floor wine lounge. Our goal is to make Just Grapes a national retail chain in China in several years. Our vision is to become the Starbucks for wine culture. What We Are Looking For? We are looking for team players and entrepreneurs to help us build and grow our business. The new addition to small team should possess the following characteristics: - Hardworking - Down to earth - Flexibility to work in different positions: retail sales, wait staff for the lounge, back office work, product mix management, etc. - Eager to learn about wine and different business aspects of the retail industry - Good communication skills: both Chinese and English - Passionate about interacting with customers to provide excellent consumer experiences - Work at least 30 hours per week - Residence near our 3 stores (1. DaGu Lu, near the Four Seasons Hotel; 2. XinGeng Lu, Xujiahui; 3. AnFu Lu, near Wulumuqi Lu) and ability to work late hours are big positives in our consideration for employment - Some of you will have the opportunity to be promoted to branch, regional, and even national managers. However, in order to become a manager, you will need to know everything about our business. Only when you know how to do every little thing in the store and do them well, will you then become a capable manager.
